When it comes to installing a solar system you want to get it right the first time. Put in a system that does not provide you with enough power and you wind up with a bigger bill from CFE every 2 months or you have to add panels down the road and possibly change your inverter. Get a system that is too big and you wind up spending more than you need to and just giving energy away to CFE every month.
It is important for us to take the time to work with you, beyond just the cost of your power today, to ensure the system we install will be the right system for you, now and into the future.
With the "Home Energy Evaluation" we look at your entire home to determine areas where you can reduce your current power consumption and make recommendations on how best to do this. We also work with you to determine what your future power increases may be. In this way, we can best estimate what size system will be right for you.
With the "Home Energy Evaluation" we take into consideration such things as:
Current electrical loads
Passive and active ventilation
Surrounding shade
Orientation of the house
How you use air conditioners
What type of air conditioning is best for you
Reducing power consumption without giving up comfort
Future power load additions
and more
From the evaluation, we can make recommendations for energy savings over and above the installation of a solar system. In many cases, by instituting some or all of the recommendations we can reduce the actual size of solar system you require, saving you money now and in the future.
